{Something Old to Something New} – 2014 Wedding Season – Part 2

Recently a mom contacted me about making our {Something Old to Something New} custom wedding bags for her two daughters, both of which were getting married soon. She wanted to make three bags; one for each of her daughters and one for herself, all three from her old wedding dress. She also had us design a special hairpin which was also decorated from the fabric of her wedding dress.

She chose two of our {ALICE} clutches and one {ALEXIS} clutch for herself and her two daughters. The results were absolutely gorgeous and we could not have been more happy to be a part of the process.

{AO3} featured in Southern Weddings Magazine!

We were more than ecstatic to receive our complimentary copy of Southern Weddings Magazine yesterday, in which we were featured. A relatively new publication filled with absolutely gorgeous photography and packed page to page with inspiration. We highly recommend  this magazine for brides-to-be, those who feel the big question approaching or anyone that likes to engage with the printed page.  A spectacular magazine through and through, we are so thrilled to take part in their third issue.

Below we have included an image of the front cover, the spread we were featured on and also, a close up of that feature. Enjoy! And don’t forget to seek this magazine out, they have a true eye for beauty!

Many, many thanks to LC, KW and EA for inviting us into your gorgeous magazine. We are honored to be a part of such an exciting and important publication!

Something bridal, something blue, something beautiful

A wedding is a wonderful occasion to express yourself by way of traditions. It seems sometimes that the days of old traditions are winding down and we are all trying to create our own new traditions. Though this may be true, wedding traditions have the ability to hold fast.

“Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue.

Our bride chose to answer tradition in elegant style, with our {BAGUETTE} Clutch. Champagne ribbon rose swirl ruched  and embellished further with ivory ruffle and then centered with a luminous panel of storm silk. An absolutely gorgeous combination. I feel it speaks to both old and new, classic and modern. The bridesmaids clutches echo the bride’s first thoughts, though reversed. Storm silk wraps and lives on the front and sides and then is centered with our champagne ribbon rose swirl. Both takes are dramatic and timeless and tie all the women together as they proceed down the aisle, on that beautiful day.
